February 2018 Flooding & Severe Storm Assistance
U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster assistance is available to small businesses in Hamilton County, OH that were impacted by the storms and flooding of February 14-March 4, 2018. Although Hamilton is not a primary county in the Presidential declaration, it is a contiguous county, meaning that small businesses located in Hamilton County can only apply for SBA Disaster Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL).
EIDL funds help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. Up to $2,000,000 is available for recovery from economic injury caused by the disaster. The actual amount of each loan is limited to the uncompensated economic injury as determined by the SBA. EIDL assistance is available only to entities and their owners who cannot provide for their own recovery from non-governmental sources.
