Cincinnati-Hamilton County Homeland Security and the Metropolitan Sewer District are hosting a Department of Homeland Security grant funded Disaster Preparedness Program entitled "WMD Incident Management/Unified Command” scheduled for January 19-21, 2010. The training will be conducted at the Metropolitan Sewer District, 1081 Woodrow Street, Cincinnati, OH 45204.
The course provided, free of charge and funded through the Department of Homeland Security, is designed to increase the preparedness and response capability within the local community. The course will be delivered by the National Emergency Response & Rescue Training Center, Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). This course is both ICS 300 compliant and equivalent training recognized by both FEMA and the Ohio EMA. Attached is an informational flyer and registration form for your use.
Deadline to register for the course has been extended to January 5, 2010.
