Seeking Community Engagement to Enhance Disaster Preparedness

August 31st, 2017 Emily Lakamp

In the wake of disasters like Hurricane Harvey on the Gulf Coast of Texas, and in conjunction with National Preparedness Month, Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (EMHSA) is seeking help from the public in updating emergency preparedness plans.

Building upon already existing emergency plans, Hamilton County EMHSA is launching a community preparedness survey that asks residents and businesses how ready they are for a potential disaster here in Hamilton County.

For more information, please see the full press release detailing the community preparedness survey and how residents can take part in making Hamilton County more disaster-ready.
