National Incident Management System (NIMS) Resource Typing

As a standard, Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency will use NIMS Resource Typing.  Resource and logistics management is an ongoing cycle that requires a uniform or accepted system for identifying, refining, and validating available resources prior to an emergency. Resource typing is the categorization and description of response resources that are commonly exchanged in disasters through mutual aid agreements.
